Body Odor - Definition

Is there a person in your class or office who you all hate to be sitting next to? He comes close to you and you want to run?
Well, that is probably because he has body odor problems.
Also called Bromidrosis, body odor is when bacteria grows in a person's body and when they multiply with sweat, it oozes out an unbearable odor.
In most cases, it is in the under arms, hair, feet, groin or mouth that we sense bad foul smell emerging from. These are areas that are always covered and dont get enough fresh air, and so the person needs to either take more than a couple of showers, or gargle their mouth or take better care of their personal hygiene.
At times body odor also arises as a result of food habits, or medication that the person is following.

Such people are advised to use medicated powder, mouth wash or a deodorants, but this is not a permanent cure for the ailment. In Chinese medicine, they have come up with a few herbs and methods to treat body odor.
