Chinese Medicine For HIV

Treat HIV With Acupuncture

To treat HIV, an acupuncturist will find the specific points for stimulation while the patient is lying flat on the table.
A needle will be inserted on those selected points and will be left there for about 30 to 45 minutes. Patients may feel some pain or numbness during the entire process. Some patients may also fall asleep during acupuncture, as it can relax the muscles as well.

Dietary Therapy for HIV

Chinese medicine is into promoting a healthy diet and a healthy diet is always a good defense strategy against HIV.
It is effective because the nutrients from the food you eat could address the imbalance of the immune system. Congee or porridge added in an HIV patient's daily diet could help prevent his or her expected weakness during the recovery period.

Moxibustion for HIV Treatment

Moxibution is a Chinese process of diagnosing a disease. This procedure could be effective for people with HIV as well.
The word moxibution came from the Chinese common herb called mugwort or "moxa" in Chinese. Moxa will be rolled into cigar-like stick, lit, and inhaled to the patient. It can also be paired with traditional acupuncture treatments.
While the needles are inserted into the body, indirect moxa is used to heat them. The metal would then conduct the heat down towards the muscles where it is most needed.

HIV - Definition

HIV means human immunodeficiency virus and it is the virus that causes AIDS.
AIDS, on the other hand, means acquired immune deficiency syndrome. It is a disease that makes the body lose its natural defenses against common sickness and health problems.
Right now, there is no known cure for HIV. But you can definitely use Chinese medicines to help treat its symptoms.
Chinese medicine has been proven effective since the 3rd century B.C. and it continues to develop throughout the years. Chinese medicine includes oriental traditions that come from Southeast Asia, although China is its main origin.
There are some Chinese medicines that could help in treating HIV.
